A 33-year-old Somali man was remanded in custody this morning after he pleaded not guilty to threatening another man with a knife, and refusing to give his personal details to the police.

The accused, Ibrahim Muhudin Omar was arraigned under arrest by police inspector Jonathan Ransley before Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit.

The incident happened at about 12.30am in an Msida apartment.

Bail was not requested.
