A python attacked a man as a group of people tried to take a selfie with it in the Sirohi district of India's northwestern Rajasthan state on Friday.

The incident took place when forest department officials removed a python that had entered the premises of a school. They were posing for pictures with the snake after successfully capturing it.

The python attacked a man who was attempting to click a selfie with the reptile.

The snake was later taken away by the officials.
