The police have arrested a man on suspicion that he was involved in thefts from cars in Zabbar last night.

Officers were tipped off about the man stealing from cars in Cospicua Road at about 11 p.m.

The man tried to escape when he noticed the police approaching, but was quickly apprehended. A bag containing items related to the thefts was found on the scene.
