A 45-year-old man from Mgarr admitted in court today that he had pulled out a revolver and threatened the former partner of his sister in Paceville.

The incident happened on Friday evening.

A court heard today that the sister of the accused and her partner had a longstanding argument.

The accused, Alan Ciangura, who was defending his sister, went to Paceville and cocked a pistol against Birol Karabulut and threatened him.

Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit put off the case to January 9 and granted bail against a personal guarantee of €10,000 and a deposit of €500.
