Leandro Ambrogio, 45 of Marsascala today admitted in court to having damaged a car belonging to the 50-year-old boyfriend of his daughter, 20.

The case happened last Tuesday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Marsascala.

The case was put off for sentencing.

In another case, four bouncers were accused of injuring Sliema Wanderers player Jeffrey Chetcuti at 3 a.m. on June 5, 2008.

The accused are Brian Bellotti, 24, Renald Tabone, 30, Graham McKay, 26,and Marflene Cricchiolo, 21 of Cospicua. Mr Cricchiolo was also accused of being a relapser.

The court was told that Mr Chetcuti was walking down the steps of Havanha club in Paceville when somebody allegedly harassed his girlfriend and a fight broke out. The four bouncers then allegedly beat up Mr Chetuti.

They pleaded not guilty.
