A 19-year-old from Marsa was accused today of having illegally entered the Marsa Golf Club, damaged CCTV equipment and stolen a mobile phone and cash from a locker.

Kersten Catania was accused of having committed the crimes in the afternoon of December 17, stealing the mobile phone worth €200 and cash of €100, a wallet worth €150 and a handbag.

He was also accused of having violated the conditions of previous sentences.

The accused pleaded not guilty and was granted bail.

Police Inspector Sandra Zammit prosecuted.
