Six Maltese youths from Zghazagh Azzjoni Kattolika (ZAK) recently took part in an international camp organised in Slovakia by Christian Children Communities Movement (eRko) for Fimcap organisations.

Young people from Malta, Italy, Lithuania and Slovakia met for a number of intercultural activities.

The participants also discovered the history and customs of the local town, Modra, where the event was hosted, and Bratislava.

They also took part in a day's community work.

The event was featured throughout Slovakia on Lux TV News and can be viewed on www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6ziv-PCc2M

The week-long event was a project funded by the Youth In Action programme which was set up to create a network of young people, youth organisations and public actors throughout the European Union.

EuroCamp will be hosted in Malta next year.
