Tenor Charles Vincenti was invited to Mumbai, India, to take part as a soloist in The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace by contemporary Welsh composer Karl Jenkins. He performed with the Bombay Chamber Orch-estra, India's oldest classical orchestra.

The combined 70-piece orch-estra was joined by a choir of 90 singers from two of Mumbai's well-known choral groups: Cathedral Choir and Living Voices.

Five solo singers from different countries participated in the performance - Vincenti, Indian soprano Natasha Collaco, English mezzo-soprano Rachel Gilmore, German baritone Michael Rapke and boy soprano Samar Uraizee from Mumbai.

Vincenti's performance was well-received by the audience and the press. He is currently following a B.A. (Hons) course in music at the University of Malta, specialising in voice.
