Sebastian Psaila, a 60-year-old sergeant from the Malta Police Mounted Section, is currently horse riding through the streets of London with the Metropolitan Police Mounted Branch on patrol.

The Department of Information said that this had been Sergeant Psaila’s wish for many years and it had come true thanks to assistance and iaison of the International Police Association (IPA). Sgt Psaila has served with the Mounted Section for the past 41 years.

Sergeant Psaila together with Sergeant Russell Pickin from the Met Police, recently rode through Hyde Park, St James, Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s, Westminster, Victoria to Piccadilly, where, outside the entrance to the Malta High Commission,he presented the High Commissioner, Joe Zammit Tabona, with a token from the International Police Association.
