Following the publication of the call for proposals earlier this year, the project
Bl-Oħla Dawl Libbist, by Maltese artist Austin Camilleri, has been chosen as the
artistic statement to the Maltese Republic.

The project was chosen through a public competition managed by Heritage Malta on behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister.

The call was for a cutting-edge major contemporary art statement to represent the Maltese Republic.

The necessary reviews will now be carried out on the chosen project to establish time frames and technicalities.
