The following are the top stories in the Maltese newspapers today.

Times of Malta reports that multi-million euro healthcare deals signed by the government and a private company last year and this March will only be published in November. The second story states that a court order not to have a PN billboard removed after a fierce legal battle risks being withdrawn as the party “missed” a deadline to initiate proceedings according to law.

In-Nazzjon says Prime Minister Joseph Muscat did not deny reports that meetings were held before a health tender for 200 million euros was issued. Its front-page picture shows a car which slammed into Portes des Bombes yesterday afternoon.

L-orizzont reports that a proposed Sliema car park had been stalled because of accessibility problems. A front-page picture says that 2,500 migrants had drowned in the Mediterranean since the beginning of the year.

The Malta Independent quotes the Delimara power station builders saying that the LNG tanker will not be delivered until July at least, which means the deadline had once again been missed.
