Times of Malta reveals that the controversial spring hunting season will be opened again this year following a recommendation by the government’s advisory body – the Ornis Committee. It also reports that Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has continued to defend Minister Konrad Mizzi after revelations that he owned a shell company in Panama, a blacklisted tax haven.
The Malta Independent says Malta was the third highest country interested in Britain's exit from the EU, according to analytics. It also reports that the Gaffarenas' appeal was harshly rejected by the Attorney General.
In-Nazzjon reports Opposition leader Simon Busuttil saying he was "disgusted" and disappointed with Dr Mizzi's behaviour and the way the Prime Minister kept defending him in light of revelations about his shell company in Panama.
