Noel Sciberras, the Maltese man who had been abducted Libya, returned to Malta last night.

The Radda militia, who released him last week, uploaded photos on their Facebook page of Mr Sciberras returning to Malta.

Mr Sciberras, the director of a company which administers car parks, was abducted by a gang in Tajoura and held for 47 days.

The captors had originally demanded a $5 million ransom for his release, according to Radda. It is not known whether any payment was made.
