Punk, all-femme band Cryptic Street has launched an appeal for information after their rehearsal space in Birkirkara got broken into, with several pieces of equipment stolen.

The band, which shared the plea on their Facebook page, described how they found most of their equipment missing, asking for anyone who has any kind of information to come forward. They also raised the point of lax security in the complex that houses their rehearsal space, a cluster of garages known as Rampol.

"This is honestly devastating news for us, since our equipment is a key part of our livelihood as musicians, as well as clear indication that the security in this complex is nowhere near as good as it needs to be, putting other musicians and people renting from this space at great risk of being victims of grand theft like ourselves," a spokesperson from the band wrote.

Anyone who has any information is invited to get in touch with the band via their Facebook page www.facebook.com/crypticstreet/.
