The majority of singers who are preparing for this Saturday's MaltaSong contest refused to take part in a dress rehearsal this morning, claiming that one of the participants was breaking the rules.

The singers said that six backing vocals could be heard on one of the songs, when the rules only allowed five backing vocals and the main singer.

PBS, which is organising the event, agreed to investigate the matter and the dress rehearsal has been moved to this evening.
