MaltaPost has reduced its carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 78,000kg per year, the company said.

It said in a statement this followed an investment of €160,000 in 216 photovoltaic panels on the roof of the company’s extension of its Marsa Head Office.

The units generate some 88,300 KW/h per year.

MaltaPost also installed a Solar Film on the company’s south facing windows to substantially reduce the intensity of direct sunlight entering the offices especially in summer.
