Germany is at the bottom of the list with household net wealth of €51,400 compared to Luxembourg’s €397,800.

The report focused solely on the wealth of private households.

It found Maltese household wealth at €215,900.

The report is based on 2010 figures and includes property costs. Data was affected by factors such as home ownership, which is high in Malta and low in Germany.
