The company operating the Malta/Sicily catamaran service advertises trips at 50 per cent of the normal fares. However, clients booking tickets in "club class" are informed at time of booking that these special discounted fares are not applicable to passengers booking "club class" fares. In none of their adverts is this fact mentioned.
This is rediculous as passengers wanting to book "club class" still have to pay the supplement of €18.63 each way for this privilege. One does not expect a 50 per cent discount on the supplement but surely the actual fare should be identical to that of all the other "non club" ticket holders.
After all, this is what happened last year. Therefore, why not now?
In camouflaging this fact in their advertisements, the company is not acting in a proper manner and their advertisements are misleading.
