The first Malta Records Festival is being held on Friday and Saturday in Qormi from 7.30pm onwards.

The festival will be spread from next to the St George Parish church to the police station.

This morning a raviola weighing some 50 kilos was presented during a press conference launching the event.  A similar one will be present at the event, attempting to break the Guinness World record held by Woodcreek High School in Roseville, California. Tat-Taljan will be taking part.

The festival will include another attempt to break a Guinness World record with the largest garlic butter roll, and more than 80 local records.

Other Guinness World records held by Malta include the largest wine glass and firework Catherine wheel.
