Among the attractions at the HSBC Malta Property Expo, to be held on February 28, and probably one of the most anticipated, is a public sale which forms part of Malta Property Auctioneers' circuit, run by Pierre Faure.

Luxury villas, apartments, converted and unconverted houses of character and commercial and investment opportunities are expected to go under the hammer on that day.

Those interested in bidding may view the auction's catalogue at www.maltapropertyauctioneers.com/ or request to receive a copy by post and then view the properties that interest them in advance.

Bidders may then make their offer by attending the auction, leaving a closed bid with the auctioneers or placing an offer prior to auction day. Those attending the auction will also need to have a 10 per cent deposit (payable by certified cheque or bankers draft) along with some form of ID, such as a passport, driver's licence or utility bill.

The expo is being organised by Duplex Real Estate Branding in collaboration with the Malta Federation of Estate Agents (FEA), Malta Chamber of SMEs (GRTU), Chamber of Architects (KTP) and the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP).

More than a hundred stands are expected to exhibit properties available together with upscale interiors, latest construction technologies and related products and services.

Apart from the exhibits and property auction, a number of professional speakers will be addressing seminars. These include financial services specialists, legal advisers, architects, interior designers and marketing consultants.

The seminars will debate subjects that should in turn inform foreigners interested in buying property in Malta as well as Maltese wanting to sell or buy property.

The expo, which runs until March 1, will be held at the MFCC, Ta' Qali. More information is available from www.maltapropertyexpo.com
