Further talks between Malta and Libya on oil exploration and illegal migration will be held in Malta in the coming weeks, the Foreign Ministry said today. The talks will follow meetings held in Tripoli earlier this week by Foreign Minister Tonio Borg.

The minister also visited Cairo.

During a meeting with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, it was confirmed that EgyptAir will commence two weekly direct flights to Malta, starting from July.

Dr Borg visited Smart Village in Cairo (picture), where international companies such as Vodafone, Hewlett Packard, Oracle and Microsoft have already set base.
