BWA Yachting, a worldwide leader in concierge and marine agency services to the superyacht industry, has inaugurated a representative office at Grand Harbour Marina in Vittoriosa.

BWA Yachting Chairman Makis Pavlatos, who was present for the event this morning, said he was pleased to learn that the further development of the yachting industry in Malta was one of the major focus points of the government's Vision 2015.

He also welcomed local representatives Edward Woods and Shawn Spiteri Duca into the BWA Yachting family.

"Their years of yachting and management experience along with their expert local knowledge of the island will allow us to provide the highest quality services and support to yachts as we do in the rest of the Med and beyond," he said.

Mr Woods said that the Maltese marine industry was growing and the presence of BWA Yachting in Malta was another step in that direction.

Mr Spiteri Duca said that the presence of BWA Yachting in Malta would facilitate the presence of superyachts in Malta.

The BWA delegation has had meetings with Finance Minister Tonio Fenech and Transport Malta.

BWA Yachting also has offices in Spain, the South of France, Corsica, Monaco, Croatia, Montenegro, Turkey, the Caribbean and in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It provides services in Italy and Greece through its Associate Partners: Luise Associates, JLT Yacht Agency and A1 Yacht Trade Consortium.
