Malta is one of 50 countries across Europe, Eurasia and Africa, that are organising activities to mark 'Get Online Week', an initiative of the Telecentre-Europe AISBL, supported by the European Commission and a number of other international organisations.

Start using the Internet today – don't waste more time! is the slogan chosen for this years' activities be held in Valletta between Saturday and Wednesday.

The Get Online Week 2012 is being run in parallel with the European Commission eSkills week campaign.

A stand will be set up in Republic Street where computers will be made available for use, giving the public the opportunity to discuss any difficulties with qualified tutors. People will also have the opportunity to apply for basic and more advanced ICT courses, being organised by the MCA.
