A delegation from the Malta Business Bureau led by its president Stefano Mallia has called on the Parliamentary Secretary for Public Dialogue and Information Chris Said to give its views on the proposed re-activation of the Malta-EU Steering Action Committee (Meusac).
In a statement the MBB said it reiterated its support and involvement in the forthcoming re-launch of Meusac and was pleased to note that there were many points of convergence on the general remit of the committee.
Mr Mallia emphasised the importance of time management in order to ensure an effective consultation process and the co-ordinating role of MBB to facilitate the efficient flow of information and feedback from stakeholders in the on-going business of the committee.
He also expanded on the complementary aspects which may exist between the agenda of Malta Council for Social and Economic Development and that of Meusac.
The MBB delegation also included Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association president Josef Formosa-Gauci, the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise treasurer Mario Spiteri, the Federation of Industry's vice-president Anton Borg, MHRA's CEO George Schembri and MBB's CEO Lino Mintoff.
