A heritage trail that will focus on the experiences of the Maltese during the years when Malta was under pressure due to lack of food and constant danger from air bombardments is being held by Heritage Malta on November 7.

Participants will visit the National War Museum in Valletta, the War Shelters in Qormi and the Aviation Museum at Ta’ Qali. The locations complement each other and will allow the participants to vividly experience the emotions and suffering that Maltese people had to go through during the Second World War.

The trail leaves from the National War Museum at 8.45 a.m.and will return to Valletta at 1.30 p.m.

Tickets, which can be obtained from Heritage Malta sites and museums, cost € 15 for adults and €12 for children. Heritage Malta adult members pay €12 while children pay €10. The price includes transport, entrance tickets and refreshments.
