The Sunday Times says surveys show that the PL is heading for a big victory at the European Parliament elections. It also reports comments by the Bishop of Gozo that cohabitation cannot be put at the same level at marriage.

Maltatoday says the Auditor-General has confirmed a report it carried last year about €4.6m extra spending by direct orders at Mater Dei Hospital. It also says that the PL and the PN have renewed their promises to Armier boathouse owners.

Illum says the law on emissions was changed to allow an extension of the power station at Delimara.

It-Torca says 921 families had their power supply cut off in six months. It also says there is a serious shortage of teachers in primary schools.

Il-Mument leads with yesterday's press conference by the prime minister on the electoral programme for the EP elections based on jobs, solidarity, the environment and values.It also reports disappointment for Chiara at the Eurovision Song Contest.

KullHadd highlights how a family had to spend €7,000 for the cancer treatment of their father. It also asks if the 33 migrants who landed in Gozo last week were actually sent to Malta by the Italians.
