Thousands of football fans from Madrid have poured into the Portuguese capital Lisbon ahead of this evening's eagerly-awaited Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid at Estadio da Luz.
This year's Euro showdown is the first to be contested by two teams from the same city.
The atmosphere is jovial with the supporters, most clad in the traditional colours of the two clubs, flooding the sun-drenched narrow streets and squares in central Lisbon.
'Atleti, Atleti' is the popular chant from the buoyant Atletico followers, on a high after their team won the Spanish league following a final-day 1-1 draw at Barcelona.
Real Madrid supporters are highly optimistic that their team will finally end their 12-year wait for 'La Decima', a record-extending 10th European Cup.
There have been no reports of incidents so far as the two sets of supporters have been mingling freely.
Thousands of fans have also reportedly travelled to Lisbon without tickets.
Real Madrid thrashed holders Bayern Munich in the semi-finals while Atletico, who are seeking their first European title, ousted Chelsea.
Midfielder Xabi Alonso is suspended for Real while midfielder Arda Turan and striker Diego Costa are injury doubts for Atletico.
