The world’s luxury aviation company VistaJet has selected Malta as the operating base to facilitate elements of its future growth.

The selection of Malta is a continuation of the company’s global strategy, following its recent announcement of the largest single order in private aviation history for the acquisition of 56 firm Bombardier Global family aircraft and a further 86 options.

The company currently operates over 35 aircraft around the globe, .

VistaJet obtained an Operating License and an Air Operator Certificate from Transport Malta in May 2012 and currently operates four Global Vision Maltese registered aircraft.

VistaJet (Malta) has created around 50 job posts for crew, operations, engineering, travel and administration. This new operating base will continue to increase in presence as the entire VistaJet fleet is set to double by 2015.
