Soprano Andriana Yordanova will give a concert of Joseph Haydn’s vocal works at St Augustine Monastery, Valletta tomorrow at noon. Yordanova will be singing a number of delightful arias, such as A Pastoral Song, Pleasing Pains, She Never Told Her Love and a Sailor’s Song.

There will be two arias from the opera The Creation, namely the arias of Uriel and Gabriel. Tenor Christian Abela, a promising student from the Malta School of Music, will be singing duets while pianist Ramona Zammit Formosa will be accompanying the singers. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a free visit to the interesting chambers of the monastery after the concert. Proceeds from the event will go to the restoration project of the Augustinian Monastery.
