Tough Matthew Hawksley has cheated death eight times – suffering a 15ft fall, four heart attacks, MRSA, pneumonia and cancer, reports The Sun.
The 25-year-old welder, of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, first dived off a sea wall, not realising the water was shallow with sharp rocks beneath. He survived, but shattered his spine and suffered repeated cardiac arrests.
His life was saved four times in 30 minutes by medics in Grange, County Sligo, where he was on a break. He was in a five-week coma after the horror in June 2011 then beat life-threatening pneumonia and MRSA, only to discover he had testicular cancer.
