Revenue from the CVA system which controls Valletta traffic reached €1,030,453 this year up to October, figures given in Parliament show.

Revenue was €504,015 in 2007, €1,096,545 in 2008 and €1,244,589 last year.

Transport Minister said the contractor who operates the system was paid €1,682,396 in 2007, €1,603,559 in 2008, €1,376,914 in 2009 and €798,543 this year.
