London record label f2f Music have signed Maltese teenager singer Sophie on a three year contract during which they hope to launch her on the international music stage in 2009.

The second daughter of a Maltese restaurant chef and an English housewife mother, Sophie represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Bucharest when she was 11 years old.

f2f Music specialize in discovering, developing and promoting new singer/songwriters and composers. Sophie was signed on during launch, hosted by British High Commissioner Louise Stanton and attended by Education Minister Dolores Cristina.

She has already worked with some of the UK’s top music fashion stylists and make-up artists and has recently been photographed in London by top rock photographer, Sam Seager.

Sophie’s first single record, a cover of Shirley Ellis’s 1960’s classic The Clapping Song, produced by Maltese music maestro, Elton Zarb, and mastered by two-time Grammy Award Nominee and legendary Pink Floyd Sound Engineer, Andy Jackson, has been released for digital download by f2f Music Limited globally via iTunes, Amazon.mp3 and Napster.
