The Malta FA will be holding a Youth Development Diploma course at Ta' Qali between November 1 and 9. Application forms may be collected from the Technical Centre at Ta' Qali during office hours. Judo Seminar
The European Judo Union has again entrusted the Malta Judo Federation and Associated Disciplines with the organisation of the Education and Medical Seminar, which will be held at the New Dolmen Hotel between tomorrow and Sunday. Present for the occasion will be International Judo Federation Education Director Yasuhiro Yamashita who was recently honoured in his homeland Japan for his achievement in sport.
Volleyball
The Malta Volleyball Association is currently accepting registrations for the U-14 league and National Cup competition which are due to start next month. Applications are to reach the General Secretary, Malta Volleyball Association, National Swimming Complex, Spinelli Street, Gzira, by not later than November 7. Refs' Meeting
The Malta Football Referees Association held a seminar for referees, entitled 'Ir-Referee fil-Familja Sportiva'. The activity, at the Coastline Hotel, was well attended and the speakers were the organisation's vice president Charles Agius, former international player Nicholas Saliba, Malta Football Coaches Association official Lolly Aquilina and journalist Robert Cutajar. At the end of the seminar, past and present referees honoured Agius for his brilliant 25 years of active refereeing.
