The 2004/05 season of the Sliema ASC swimming group gets underway on September 20 at the National Pool, Tal-Qroqq. Head coach Anita Mercieca Bons and technical adviser Alfred Cachia will conduct a year-long programme which reaches its climax with the national championships next summer. Marsaxlokk FC nursery

Marsaxlokk FC have just engaged a number of qualified and experienced personnel to run their nursery this season. David Carabott, the former national team captain, is the head coach. John Borg is the administrator and the team of coaches includes Louis Cutajar and Albert Vella. Marsaxlokk FC are now inviting young football hopefuls to join their nursery for the coming season. MBSA annual general meeting

The Malta Billiards and Snooker Association (MBSA) will be holding its annual general meeting on Friday at the Melita Band Club, Msida, at 6 p.m. The agenda includes administrative and financial reports and an election of a new council. All registered players and club delegates have been urged to attend.

Qormi Hockey Club nursery

For the coming season Qormi Hockey Club will once again be running a nursery for boys and girls, aged between seven and 16 years. Luxol youth basketball
