Times of Malta reports that 25 people are expected to be arraigned over the Paceville nightclub incident last November which left dozens injured. It also reports the outcome of a conference yesterday which said Malta’s mental health system is a throwback to “Victorian-style” services and needs to move away from hospitalisation and stress community services.

The Malta Independent interviews new Parliamentary Secretary Deborah Schembri who says that the reform of the Land Department would be her priority. tagħha. It also reports that Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is expecting action from government departments to address the excessive payments reported by the National Audit Office.

In-Nazzjon reports about another "gimmick" from the government after it established that the waste transfer station in Xewkija in Gozo is operating without a permit, two months after its inauguration. It also reports that there is currently just one doctor serving 580 prisoners at Corradino.
