Times of Malta reports a rapporteur saying that Toni Abela should withdraw his nomination to the European Court of Auditors after failing the MEP grilling. It also reports that the Allied Group of Companies has set up a board of inquiry to look into allegations involving its former group managing director.

L-orizzont says Nationalist deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami had been left alone to face claims about his residence in Gharghur. It also reports that there was theft and no defect in an electricity meter at a PN club in Marsaxlokk.

In-Nazzjon says it has been confirmed that explosives had been used to widen the inland sea rocks at Dwejra. It also says questions are being raised whether other top government officials were aware of the Gaffarena scandal. 

The Malta Independent reports that an EU summit had concluded that migrants reaching Greece would be sent back to Turkey despite legal concerns. It reports that the Church commission for safeguarding the children and vulnerable adults is expected to release its first report next month.
