As part of its strategy to increase coverage of local sports, Melita this week announced it has again acquired TV rights to broadcast all races of the traditional September 8 regatta exclusively tomorrow from 1 p.m. The races will be shot by a 10-camera set-up.

This is the third time the national regatta will be shown live on Melita following its coverage of the September 2007 and March 2008 events. Melita plc, which officially began to operate all its business under a single brand - Melita - from Monday, is also a regatta sponsor.

The races will be aired on Melita Sports and on Melita's Weather and Information channel which is available to all Melita subscribers.

Melita Sports will also broadcast Malta's World Cup qualifier against Albania from Tirana on Wednesday at 8.45 p.m.
