The second edition of the 'Literature for Young Adults' literary contest was launched last Thursday by Parliamentary Secretary Clyde Puli and National Book Council chairman Ġorġ Mallia.
The contest aims to promote Maltese literature for adolescents. The Parliamentary Secretariat for Youth and Sport is investing €11,000 in this venture.
It is hoped that through this contest, a pool of promising manuscripts will be created.
Everybody can participate in this contest but the target audience should be adolescents.
Authors should write for teens aged between 12 and 17. Manuscripts should be in Maltese. Those interested in participating are asked to check the regulations governing the contest.
