A light aircraft pilot and crew member escaped with no injuries after his aircraft landed at Malta International Airport with a collapsed nose gear. 

A fire and rescue team was deployed immediately as a precautionary measure. The area was cleared shortly afterwards, an MIA spokesperson told Times of Malta.

The incident happened at 10.20am on Runway 23-05.
