More than 70 felines will be strutting the catwalk this weekend, modelling their winter fur coats as the Malta Feline Guardians Club presents its anticipated show.

The World Cat Federation Pearl Jubilee and the National Golden Cat Show will be presented at the Montekristo Estate, Hal Farrug, on Saturday and Sunday.

The winner of the National Golden Cat 2018 will be flying to Riga in Latvia next June to take part with the other winners from all over the world for the special final awards titled World Golden Cat 2018.

Four WCF international judges from Lithuania, Poland and Italy will be examining and judging the felines that promise to melt the hearts of visitors. The show is open between 10am and 7pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday. Entrance is free.

The show is backed by Petnutrition with Princess cat products and Madagascar id-Dinja tal-Annimali, the pet educational programme, aired on TVM.
