The cyclists of the Lifecycle Challenge today pedalled for 226km from Bathurst to Cootamundra, in New South Wales, Australia on Day Seven of their adventure.

The team, which is raising funds for renal patients in Malta, set off in the cold at 5.30am after getting up at about 3.30am.

The terrain was easier than in the past few days, and the weather was slightly more accommodating, with the day becoming warm but not hot, and cloudy. In spite of the distance, the cyclists made good time, and were met at Cootamundra by Mark Loiterton, president of Cootamundra Cycling Club.

The team was also interviewed on SBS radio.

Only three cycling days remain as the team heads for Melbourne. The team returns to Malta on Friday.
