A 26-year-old Libyan man was seriously injured yesterday morning after allegedly being stabbed by a foreign national.

The police said they found the injured man, who is a Swieqi resident, in Triq Santu Wistin, St Julian’s, at around 7am.

The victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.

His injuries are not life-threatening.

The police said the aggressor fled from the scene of the incident.
