Another ceasefire was announced by Libya on Friday, but appeared to have been broken as attacks continued against Benghazi and Misurata.
Meanwhile, anti-aircraft fire was heard again over Tripoli this evening, but it was not clear if an air raid was under way and what the targets were.
Tracer fire was seen arching into the air.
There were also reports that a Libyan government convoy had been attacked by aircraft, with some 40 vehicles having been destroyed.
The Western forces are concentrating on knocking our Col Gaddafi's air defences, but US defence officials also said today they would seek out his logistical systems.
