I wonder whether your readers have realised that the cost-of-living increase announced by the government for next year – €1.16 – is not enough to cover the cost of one phone call to flight enquiries at Malta International Airport, which costs €1.50 (I paid €2.99 for two such calls), or 29 per cent more than the cost-of-living increase announced by Finance Minister Tonio Fenech.
