Forest officials in Uttarakhand in northern India have caught a leopard.

It had been roaming around residential areas for two days and had injured two people.

The leopard will be released into the wild eventually, officials say.

Leopards stray into human settlements because their habitat has been depleted.

Last week four people were injured when a leopard was found in the grounds of a school in India.
