The University chaplain, Fr Jimmy Bartolo, SJ, is inviting all University academic staff and other professionals for Lenten reflections. Fr Finbarr Lynch, SJ, will be offering three Lenten reflections starting tomorrow at 7.30 p.m. at the University Chapel of St Thomas More.

Fr Lynch, who was born in Cork, Ireland, has a special place for Malta in his heart, having visited the island many times, the last time being last summer where he directed the annual retreat of the Jesuit Province.

The reflections promise to be a good opportunity for all those who attend to renew their wish to follow closely in Christ's footsteps. The first reflection will focus on "Repent and believe the Good News". The second will lead to reflections on Christ's invitation: "Take up your cross and follow me". The third reflection will focus on the experience of the good criminal on Calvary and the experience of betrayal.

These reflections are an invitation to live Holy Week in the right spirit. For further information contact Fr Bartolo.
