The 11th edition of Lejl f’Casal Fornaro is being held on Saturday.

The event is designed to promote Qormi's culture, traditions and folklore, including the town's traditional bakeries and its long-standing association with the Maltese bread.

Shelters from WWII will also be brought back to their original state but one will be given a a supernatural theme with a horror production set to send shivers down the spine of those attending.

Locals will exhibit their talents and traditional crafts which include Maltese traditional lace and knitting will be on show. The Qormi Oktoberfest will also be organised within the event. A v ariety of beers will be available, as well as food.

The event is organised by KZB, a voluntary organisation, with the assistance of Maypole Ltd and the cooperation of the Tourism Ministry and thethe Parliamentary Secretariats for local government and agriculture and the Qormi council.
