As part of the History of Art Programme, Professor Pier Paolo Pancotto from the Università degli Studi 'La Sapienza' of Rome will be lecturing on Modern and Contemporary Italian Art on Wednesday (Il recupero del Classico nell'arte italiana della prima metà del XX: Valori Plastici, Realismo Magico, Novecento) at the Gateway Building Hall B1 at 10 a.m.; on Thursday (Arte a Roma tra le due guerre mondiali: la Scuola di Via Cavour, Scuola Romana, e pittura tonale) at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Valletta at 6 p.m.; and on Friday (Aspetti nell'arte italiana nel primo dopo guerra: tendenze figurattive ed estratte) at the Engineering Lecture Theatre at 10 a.m.
