A lecture by Duncan Harris entitled "Risk - Avoidable or Inevitable - Planning Safety Management Systems is being held on May 22 at 6 p.m. at St Martin's Institute of IT West Building.

Prof. Harris is currently the Director of the Distance Leaning MBA programme, Director of Aviation Programmes and Deputy Director of the External and Executive Programmes of the School of Management, at Royal Holloway College, University of London.

He has worked for nearly 20 years in the aviation industry, he is the company psychologist for the BMI Group of Airlines and the human factors advisor of easyJet. For the last nine years he has also been working with colleagues at the Ministry of Defence Directorate of Aviation Regulation and Safety to develop integrated human factors within military aviation. He has worked on all types of aviation configurations.

Prof. Harris will be available to provide information regarding the MSc International Business and MBA International Management being introduced in conjunction with St Martin's Institute in Malta.
