Week eight of the Middlesea League at the Eden SuperBowl saw leaders Fina First retain their 14-point lead at the top of standings thanks to a convincing 8-0 win over Active.

Tabsat also took all eight points from Royal Shock but stay second, level with Globalair Travel who picked up a majority win against Café Ole. Fourth-placed Ramis claimed a 6-2 win against NINE, as did Centro Casalinga in their clash with Turu's Knights. Fina took a clear advantage at the top of Division One by thrashing rivals Tabsat 8-0 in their postponed week seven match, and maintained their comfortable lead in their last match with a similar victory over bottom side Active.

Active were barely in with a chance against their illustrious opponents, who opened the scoring with an easy 700-851 game one win. Game two was also like taking candy from a baby for the defending champions, ending 722-857 in their favour, while they clinched game three 676-742.

Tabsat also managed an 8-0 win to prevent Fina from moving further out of reach.

Against Royal Shock, they opened with the game of the week, beating their inferior opposition 879-765, and then made it 4-0 with an 872-730 game two win. 757-729 in game three made it 8-0 to Tabsat, also giving them the team series of the week on 2,508 pins.

Globalair held the edge over Café Ole going into the decider, and won it 701-733 to claim the 6-2 win.
